FREE Minecraft Server Hosting

Hey guys, it's Gold here. I wanted to share with you a new server hosting I found which is COMPLETELY free to make! Server.pro is a website that will host a variety of minecraft servers for a matching set of prices, but does contain a free option. The free server has 0.5 GB of RAM, a max of 12 players, and up to 10 plugins(which you can add easily via the server management page). Players must note, however, 0.5 GB of RAM is not nearly enough to host mods or beefy maps, and your server WILL crash if you decide on using them.

How to get Started

Well, it's simple, really, First, you want to create an account, which is free to do.

Then, you can pick from a PC or PE server.

Then, pick out a unique host name for your server. I would suggest your username for simplicity's sake.

Then, pick where it will be hosted. Make sure you pick whatever continent is closer to you/the one you live in.

Next, just follow the steps of the server creation screen.

NOTE: If you want a Bukkit server with plugins, make sure to pick the CraftBukkit server type

Finally, you will be placed in a queue to get your server. Wait for a few moments, and soon you'll be first in line. Now, sometimes the queue will be quite long, like here. But, just be patient.
